Fireflies and Data Mining

The fireflies dance 3 feet above the wet grass in the hazy twilight.  I watch them as they circle, emitting their light in 30 ns bursts.  The pattern of their dance starts to unfold, almost as if choreographed.  Before too long, a pattern starts to emerge, and I can predict where the next flash will
